What is Ad Blue & Do I need it?

What is AdBlue?
AdBlue is a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) used in Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems of diesel vehicles. It is a solution containing 32.5% urea and 67.5% deionized water.
When injected into the exhaust stream, AdBlue reacts with harmful nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions, converting them into harmless nitrogen and water vapor. This process helps diesel engines to comply with strict emissions regulations, reducing their environmental impact and promoting cleaner air quality.
